What happens to my codes if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted, ever. You keep every code you've saved and can still re-download each one as a PNG, exactly as saved — including codes with a custom colour or logo you added while on the paid plan. Cancelling means you can't save new codes past 50, and you lose the ability to apply new colours, logos, or export SVG. Your library itself never shrinks.
How is this different from just regenerating a QR code for free?
Free generators work great the first time. The problem shows up later — a new phone, a cleared cache, a laptop swap — when you need the exact same code again and have no way to get it back. QRKeep saves every code to your account, not your device, so it's still there on any device you sign into, cloud-synced from the free tier up.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No card required for the free tier. Sign in with just your email (a magic link, no password) and save up to 50 codes for free, permanently — not a trial.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your account — no retention flow, no phone call, no "are you sure" maze. It takes effect immediately and, per the answer above, never touches your saved codes.
Will my logo make the QR code unscannable?
No — QRKeep automatically switches any code with a logo to the highest error-correction level and caps the logo size so the code stays reliably scannable, even printed and a little worn. We also block colour combinations that are too low-contrast to scan.
